Beach Babe Shoshanna

Shoshanna is a babe who loves the beach. Her passion for swimwear began with her own frustration in finding the perfect fit for her voluptuous curves. Refashioning swimwear for her self led to success as a fashion designer of her own fashion empire. Her signature Shoshanna collection is available in department stores and boutiques.

Shoshanna describes the beginning, "The first swimsuits I designed were actually when I was in, high school when I couldn't find suits that fit, and if they did fit, they were meant for a much older (read grandma) woman. I found a place in the Hamptons that made custom suits and I had all my suits made there. The quality was so-so, and they were beyond expensive, but they saved me. That's my first swimsuit design experience, when I launched the Shoshanna swim line, the suits were based off of those early designs, and the sizing structure just made sense. I based it off of bra sizing. Why would women need such specific bras, and not swimsuits? It never made sense to me!".

Being a creative entrepreneur and looking good is good for business. Shoshanna shares, “I feel like healthy eating is such a big part of it. I always worked out, and it's great for toning, but when I watch what I eat, that's when I feel best. Of course having a great fitting suit, and taking care of your skin doesn't hurt either!!!" Shoshanna divides her time between New York, the Hamptons and beaches around the world.
