Hatha-hate your heart out, but who among us wouldn’t completely lose it if Anne Hathaway personally serenaded you on your birthday?

That’s what happened when the Oscar-winning actress campaigned for Hillary Clinton at multiple colleges in Pennsylvania on Wednesday.

Hathaway visited Temple University, Bryn Mawr College and a few other stops in in the Philadelphia region to encourage young people to vote come election day. Someone apparently informed her that it was a student in the crowd’s birthday, so out-and-proud musical theater geek Anne busted out a rendition of “Happy Birthday,” as he promptly freaked out.

Other students ― even those who aren’t planning on voting for the Democratic candidate ― captured some of Hathaway’s speeches, in which she told students “to put her in the White House and shatter the glass ceiling.”

So not misérables.
