On to the fun ones: The Best Original Song nominees have been announced for the 2013 Golden Globes, with Adele ("Skyfall") and Jon Bon Jovi ("Not Running Anymore") and Taylor Swift ("Safe & Sound") up for the award.

Other songs up for the big honor: "For You" ("Act of Valor") and "Suddenly" ("Les Miserables").

Fiona Apple's song, "Dull Tool" appears in Judd Apatow's "This Is 40," but was not nominated. The track is Apple's first original contribution to a soundtrack.

Last year, Madonna took home this award for "Masterpiece," a song off the soundtrack to "W.E.," her movie about herself. When accepting the trophy, she took the opportunity to fire back at then-host Ricky Gervais.

"If I'm still just like a virgin, Ricky. Then why don't you come over here and do something about it," she seethed. "I haven't kissed a girl in a few years. On TV."

The 2013 edition of the Golden Globes will take place on Sunday, Jan. 13. "30 Rock" and "Parks and Rec" showrunners Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are co-hosting. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) puts on these awards, which means that, unlike the Academy Awards, they are selected by critics. The Oscars are voted on by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, working industry insiders.

This year's Miss Golden Globes is Francesca Eastwood, Clint Eastwood's daughter.
