Does Law of Attraction Work for Getting Clientele?

I always like to say 'garbage in, garbage out' which illustrates the negative side. Instead, let's rephrase and live 'sparkling pure potential in -- sparkling pure potential out'.

How do you use the Law of Attraction for building a business?

While I focus on five different areas with my clients, ultimately it begins and ends with your mindset. That's where I suggest everyone start when they are choosing their business, deciding on what kind of customers they want and when creating their marketing materials and plan.

When you are or are not taking actions in building your business, much of what you will choose and not choose to do comes from what you think, feel and believe about you and your business. We can only take actions that line up with our thoughts, feelings and beliefs. Period.

Here's an example...lots of business people go to networking events. Many times at these events, people collect business cards and make connections. Here's the kicker, most don't follow up.

Why is that?

There are a lot of reasons and most of them have to do with limited thinking. Here's a few examples: "I don't see how we could work together", "I don't have enough time", "I don't think they really want to hear from me", "They probably already have someone doing this service for them"...and so on.

Do any of these trains of thought attract business? Definitely not. In fact, they repel business. If the Universe is a photocopier of your thoughts -- let's look at these examples:

Thought

I don't see how we could work together

Universe Response

You won't be able to see how you can work together (even though they have a great lead waiting for you)

Thought

I don't have enough time

Universe Response

Suddenly you have waaaay too much to do -- your desk is overloaded

Thought

They probably already have someone doing this service for them

Universe Response

Someone is already doing this service for them (of course, you don't know and won't know that they're unhappy with the service)

Thought

I don't think they really want to hear from me

Universe Response

The phone will be busy or your emails won't get through

Why would people who have a business think these thoughts?

Lots of reasons, all you need to do is listen to what other business people are talking about..."yup, business is tough these days", "it takes 'x' amount of years to make it", "there's too many realtors, insurance people, Mary Kay sellers (you name the job) in our area, everyone can't be successful", "people just don't have money to spend these days". Add these to what our experiences are and have been and top that up with a little bit of insecurity and it doesn't take long to be having a rash of negative thoughts. Negative thoughts lead to negative action or inaction.

What do we do about this?

We start with two things:

Hyper-Vigilance: Become hyper-vigilant to what thoughts you let in to your energy and into your consciousness. We need to be far more conscious about this aspect. What we listen to and believe, we'll create in our own life. Do we really want to keep re-creating the news about the economy? If not, turn it off. I always like to say 'garbage in, garbage out' which illustrates the negative side. Instead, let's rephrase and live 'sparkling pure potential in -- sparkling pure potential out'.

Keep Your Enthusiasm Up: Never allow yourself to be discouraged or depressed. That is why so many people recommend doing what you love because if challenges come up -- you want your enthusiasm for what you do to be the easy part!

These are two powerful ways to get started in attracting clientele to your home-business. There are obviously a ton of other tips and techniques but these are the ones I recommend starting with -- even if you already have a business that is successful. Paying attention to these two things can be the key to ramping up to the next level of attracting business to you.
