President-elect Donald Trump was revealed as Time magazine’s person of the year on Wednesday, an honor that unquestionably means a lot to Trump.

But it’s not the first time Trump has been on the magazine’s cover this year. The magazine has twice featured a cartoon of Trump’s face and declared he was in a total meltdown. Taken together, the three covers show just how surprising Trump’s victory was and how many times critics wrote off his campaign.

Last year, Trump seemed upset when he wasn’t chosen to be Person of the Year, as the magazine chose German Chancellor Angela Merkel instead. He even tweeted a fake cover in April that claimed he had been named person of the year. It’s not the first time he’s been upset at getting snubbed.

Trump joins a list of individuals recognized for the magazine’s yearly issue that includes Barack Obama (2008 and 2012), George W. Bush (2000 and 2004), Pope Francis (2013), Josef Stalin (1939 and 1942) and Adolf Hitler (1938).
