Snow storms, typhoons, floods. Oh my!
Earth suffered numerous extreme weather events in 2015 that left many of us in awe. Throughout the year, NASA's Global Precipitation Measurement team captured these storms on video and analyzed their behavior in order to learn more about our planet.
Now, the team has shared its observations of 41 stunning storms in a new compilation video (above) that was posted to YouTube on Monday.
The video includes last year's New England nor'easter and Hurricane Patricia, the most powerful Pacific hurricane to make landfall ever recorded.
