John Stamos Thought There Was Even A Chance Elizabeth Olsen Would Play Michelle In 'Fuller House'

Hahaha, good luck with that.

Lol, John Stamos.

Almost no "Fuller House"-related scenario was less likely than fashion icons Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen returning to their childhood role of Michelle Tanner for the Netflix reboot. (Which, in case you missed it, they're not.) Basically the only more unlikely scenario is that their younger sister Elizabeth Olsen, currently an actor amassing major star cred in indies and "Avengers" and "Captain America" franchises alike, would put her film career on a quick pause to take on a role in a '90s sitcom reboot that she never once played.

But that didn't stop Uncle Jesse from trying!

"I don't think this has been talked about. I didn't do it, I think Jeff Franklin did. I said, 'Call the sister [Elizabeth Olsen]. Ask her,'" Stamos, who appeared to take an offhand Lori Loughlin remark a little too seriously, told Andy Cohen on SiriusXM talk show "Radio Andy" on Monday. "We talked to her agent and her agent was like, 'Come on, she's not going to do that,' but we did call her agent."

No word yet on if they thought it'd be a good idea to ask Jennifer Lawrence next.

"Fuller House," a 13-episode reboot of the original series centered around a now adult DJ, Stephanie, and Kimmy, debuts on Netflix on Friday, Feb. 26.
