What's Missing From These Images Says A Lot About The Gender Gap

Editing out men paints a striking picture of gender imbalance at the top.

In order to prove an important point about gender imbalance, Elle U.K. got rid of men -- sort of.

As part of its #MoreWomen campaign, the magazine edited men out of images featuring leaders in politics, entertainment and more. The results? A few women, including Emma Watson and Hillary Clinton, surrounded by a lot of empty space.

Though the fact that men outnumber women in many fields is no new discovery, the edited images send a powerful message to women written at the end of the video: "There’s room for more of us at the top."

Preach.
