Kids aren't always the most adventurous eaters. In fact, the childhood "picky eater" phenomenon is so common that there have even been research studies that attempt to understand it.

So, unless you are young food connoisseur Rino, it's likely that your parents had to use some particularly creative tactics to get you to eat your food (our parents told us we'd have muscles like Popeye if we ate our spinach). We're not really sure where some of the parents came up with these white lies, but they definitely get an A for effort.
