Men Prefer Flavored Cocktails But Are Too Scared To Order Them

Bring on the appletinis.

We might live in an age where the fight for gender equality is strong, but there's still one domain in which old gender norms are holding on tight: at the bar.

According to a recent survey conducted by Stoli Vodka, 74 percent of millennial men actually like and want to drink flavored cocktails, but 63 percent of men are too afraid to order them for fear of scrutiny from their peers.

Stoli's survey polled 1,475 legal drinking-age American consumers. They also discovered that 53 percent of millennial men care what people think about them when ordering drinks, compared to a mere seven percent of men who are boomers.

If being young and insecure is keeping men from enjoying the drinks they want to imbibe, that's one good reason to look forward to getting older. Just think of all the appletinis you can drink in the public eye in your olden age. Cheers to that!
