'Daily Show' Correspondent Hasan Minhaj Wants Tina Fey For President

#TinaFey2016.

With Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton fresh off the Democratic debate stage and Ben Carson and Donald Trump vying for the top spot among the GOP candidates, the 2016 race is filled with contenders across the political spectrum. But according to "Daily Show" correspondent Hasan Minhaj, there is one person who would blow all the candidates out of the water.

Minhaj, who joined HuffPost Live on Wednesday to discuss his one-man show "Hasan Minhaj: Homecoming King," said Tina Fey should be the one to succeed Barack Obama. As Minhaj explained to host Josh Zepps, Fey is "incredibly likable," "intelligent" and has the it-factor to make it as commander-in-chief.

"If you want a great replacement, like who can follow Barack and still have that swag, that charisma, that charm and be historic -- I think it would be Tina Fey for president," he said.
