"Heroes": A Farewell Playlist For Comic-Con 2010

I really think this year was the most fun that I've had yet not attending Comic-Con. Apparently, I'm such an actual un-ironic geek that no one thought to invite me along to make the big pilgrimage with them.

I really think this year was the most fun that I've had yet not attending Comic-Con. Apparently, I'm such an actual un-ironic geek that no one thought to invite me along to make the big pilgrimage with them. Sure, I missed all those visiting superstars, all the insightful panels, and at least one reported pen stabbing, but that doesn't mean I wasn't there in geeky spirit. Recently I've heard some rumors that Comic-Con might move closer to Los Angeles from San Diego. Let it be known that if Comic-Con moves into my living room next year, I am so there. Until then here's my parting playlist for everyone who had more fun than I did this past weekend.

HEROES - David Bowie
CELLULOID HEROES - The Kinks
SAN DIEGO SERANADE - Tom Waits
THE LAST OF THE SUPERHEROES - American Heartbreak
DRAW THE LINE - Aerosmith
IT'S A WILD WEEKEND - N.R.B.Q.
CATCH ME IF YOU CAN - Comic Book Heroes
THAT'S REALLY SUPER, SUPERGIRL - XTC
GEEK U.S.A. - Smashing Pumpkins
COOL - Gwen Stefani
MAGNETO AND TITANIUM MAN - Paul McCartney & Wings
SAVE ME - Aimee Mann
COMIC BOOK HEROES - Rick Springfield
LOST WEEKEND - Lloyd Cole & The Commotions
IRON MAN - Black Sabbath
SUPERMAN'S SONG - Crash Test Dummies
OH SUPERMAN - Laurie Anderson
CHALLENGERS - The New Pornographers
SUPERMAN - R.E.M

Now you draw the lines. What songs are on your playlist for Comic-Con?
