POINT I

Festivals age like dogs.

One year is like seven years human time.

In its third year the music / art / tech gathering known as III Points is no doubt growing. They are not old or played out or over the hill, on the contrary, they still have room to grow but they are old enough to vote, go to war and have a drink.

In a nutshell, III Points is more responsible.

From the music and deejays to festival maps to the art and into the lounges -- III Points has firmly established itself as Wynwood's premiere music festival.

POINT II

Without even going into the XXYYXX's about Jay Electronica and King Krule and Toro y Moi and the Bonobo Panda Bears Running The Jewels into the Ghostface pixels of Neon Indians twisted into an Unknown Mortal Orchestra embedded in cutting edge lighting with freaky on-site designs and installations-- without any of those beautiful and nuanced details, if you can vibe off the energy of 10,000 young-at-heart youthful spirited unbelievably beautiful and glamorous boys and girls in the most stylish of "now's" -- if you can hang with that-- you're down with III points.

POINT III

Regarding off-site activation's and conferences and non-music events -- quite frankly, they are hard to attend because the main event and after parties just melt into the night. Maybe they can be a little later. Maybe a little closer. But maybe not. That's really on us if we can't attend a noon or 2pm event.

Also, the "on-going" activation's at III Points had nothing to do with III Points. They were things already going on in Miami. And that's AWESOME! Highlighting cultural events, organizations and activations spread throughout the city is an organic and humble way of promoting each other in a non-competitive or threatening way and it IS THE ANSWER when it comes to growing from within as a city!

Big ups to the III Points festival going forward!!

You're all grown up, here to stay, and doing it the right way!

Thank you.

You're helping to continually place Miami on the map as a 21st century oasis!!
