Katy Andrews, BYU Track Runner, Falls In Water During Steeplechase FAIL (VIDEO)

College Runner Goes Splash At Track Meet

Witnessing a fall can be a cause for concern, but watching an athlete tumble into a pool of water during a race? That seems relatively safe and potentially hilarious. Luckily, BYU senior Katy Andrews thinks so too.

Andrews was participating in the 3,000m steeplechase event at the 2012 BYU Robison Invitational when a spike from her shoe got stuck just seconds before she attempted to clear a steeplechase barrier, according to Andrews' own description on YouTube. The momentum sends Andrews tumblng head-first into a shallow water pit below.

Afterward, Andrews completed two more laps and later uploaded the video of her fall to her YouTube account, suggesting that she is not only a dedicated athlete, but also good sport with a sense of humor.
