"Scandal" star Kerry Washington welcomed a daughter, Isabelle Amarachi Asomugh, in May of 2014, but she hasn't slowed down for a second.
In an interview with In Touch magazine, Washington explained that having a boss like Shonda Rhimes makes it easier to balance work and new motherhood.
"One of the greatest things about having her as a boss is that she is a woman who really understands," Washington said. "She’s a mother and has four shows, along with three kids."
But part of being a mom means making sure to say "no" to certain people. “You can’t be all things to all people all the time," said Washington.
