Mark Hebert Busted For Child Porn By AT&T Employee

AT&T Employee Busts Man For Child Porn While Fixing Internet

An AT&T worker making a service call in suburban Lombard ended up discovering a child pornography collection on a customer's computer, leading to an arrest this week.

Mark Hebert, 52, of the 1000 block of Charing Cross Road in Lombard, was charged with aggravated child pornography after police executed a search warrant and found images of "young girls in bondage situations" on his computer, CBS Chicago reports.

Assistant State's Attorney Enza LaMonica told the Daily Herald that the AT&T technician moved a computer mouse and saw the images in question on the screen. He informed a supervisor who then contacted police.

"Most of (the children depicted) are under the age of 4 years old," LaMonica told the paper.

Hebert was previously convicted of criminal sexual abuse and aggravated battery to an elderly person, police told CBS. He faces up to seven years in prison if convicted.
