Michael J. Fox & Christopher Lloyd Crash 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' On 'Back To The Future' Day

Marty McFly and Doc Brown are going back to the future!

"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" just cranked it up to 1.21 gigawatts.

On Oct. 21, 2015, Marty McFly and Doc Brown officially arrived in the future, and you can probably guess where they ended up.

Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd crashed Jimmy Kimmel's monologue on Wednesday during "Back to the Future" Day by coming on stage in their DeLorean time machine. The Huffington Post watched it happen live at the taping in Brooklyn, NY, and -- Great Scott! -- it was amazing.

Like all of us, Marty and Doc were surprised there weren't more flying cars and hoverboards nowadays. As Marty eloquently put it, "2015 kind of sucks."

The pair weren't totally unimpressed with the future, however. They were pretty astounded by smartphones, happy the Cubs made the playoffs and obviously seemed to catch on with selfies pretty quickly.
