'Kyle XY' Star Matt Dallas And His Husband Introduce Their New Son

Awwwwww!

Matt Dallas is a new dad.

On Tuesday, the 33-year-old "Kyle XY" star and his husband, Blue Hamilton, introduced their 2-year-old son, Crow, to the world in an emotional, holiday-themed YouTube video, which can be viewed above.

The Los Angeles-based couple, who tied the knot in July, said they'd considered surrogacy and overseas adoption options before ultimately opting to adopt a child from the U.S. Crow was originally born in Arizona.

"We both come from big families. Family is important to both of us, and raising a family of our own is very important to us," Hamilton said. "So it was just a matter of when, timing-wise, and how."

Calling his son "the best Christmas present ever," Dallas added, "There was supposed to be a six-month trial period [but] there was about a six-minute trial period before we knew he was gonna be ours!"

Earlier in the day, the actor teased the news on Instagram with an adorable photo of the new family relaxing in front of the tree with matching socks.

The video concludes with footage of Crow trimming the tree with Dallas and Hamilton, as well as joining his dads at family gatherings.

It's been a whirlwind two years for Dallas, who came out in 2013 with a simple tweet revealing that he and Hamilton had gotten engaged.

Congrats, gentlemen!
