Flynn resigned Monday night, just 24 days into the role, amid allegations he discussed U.S. sanctions against Russia with the Russian ambassador in the weeks before Trump took office. If proven true, Flynn could be in violation of the Logan Act, which prohibits private citizens from negotiating with foreign governments.
