Today is a good day to be Naomie Harris.
Not only did she pick up her first Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress in “Moonlight” on Tuesday, but Harris also walked away with top marks in another highly competitive race: best Oscar nomination reaction on Twitter.
First, the actress fittingly expressed her excitement over the nomination with an “OMGGGG” and some party popper emojis.
Then, she shared the family and fan love by retweeting a post from her brother, Maxwell, and another from a follower wishing Harris the most sincere of congratulations.
And finally, Harris brought it all home by hilariously capturing her mood with a GIF of Terry Crews from “Brooklyn Nine Nine” dancing his heart out.
Viola Davis, who is nominated in the same category for her performance in “Fences,” might be slated to win come February, but it was Harris who took home Twitter gold Tuesday.
