In the wake of Miami's impressive Game 3 victory, I joined The Odd Couple of 610 Sports Radio in Houston to break down how and why Dallas faltered at home.

I harped on the same question mark I've maintained all season with the Mavs: Who is this team's second scoring option? With the recent struggles of Jason Terry and ineffective play of J.J. Barea, Dirk Nowitzki is being left without any tangible help in this series. This is the main reason why I didn't have any problem with Dirk calling out Jason Terry and essentially saying he needed to step up. For Dallas to have a chance, this has to change. The problem is; I'm not sure they can do much about it.

As a result, I also analyzed the incredible defensive ability of the Heat, specifically how fast this team rotates and just how dominant its perimeter defense has become.

On another note, we discussed the recent Kevin McHale hiring as head coach of the Rockets, and while on air, talked about the just breaking news that Mark Jackson had been named coach of the Golden St. Warriors. I broke out the Rolodex and it made for a fun and exciting segment!
