You think you know someone.

You go with them through the ups and downs of a relationship, by their side as they fall in love with the person of their dreams, root for their happiness all the way, and then shed your own tears as theirs fall when that “love” goes sour. Then, as a new opportunity arises in their life, you root for them to find happiness for real. And then it happens, they make, what you consider, the worst mistakes you could possibly imagine for them.

What are you thinking JoJo?

As I watched the continuation of The Bachelorette last night, I saw JoJo Fletcher throw, not one, but two, incredible options for a life partner out the fantasy suite window. Granted, Luke never made it that far. She left him dazed and confused at the rose ceremony, but Chase did make it to the fantasy suite- or almost, at which point, after a heartfelt and long-awaited-for admission of his love for her, she had a sudden realization that this one day was not going to make her fall in love with him either. The two, seemingly most genuine and “real” males she has left from which to choose, and she tosses them aside.

And for what?

Or whom, I guess I should say.

Jordan Rogers and Robby, I-used-to-be-an -Olympic-Swimmer.

The only two guys who have been reported as being in this entire endeavor for fame seeking purposes- one who spews “I Love You” like it’s cheap wine and the other, who from next week’s preview, may not even be sure he is going to propose.

Girl, when are you going to learn?

My heart ached for JoJo at the finale of The Bachelor last season. I thought that Ben had made a huge error in letting such a great girl get away, and I knew that I would devotedly watch this season of The Bachelorette in hopes that she would find the happiness she deserves. And she does deserve to be happy.

But in the words of the late and great bachelor, Chase,

“This really sucks!”

Yeah, I’m going to tune in next week for the final “take’em home to meet the fam and then hope they propose to me dance”, because, well, I just have to see this thing through to the end. But, I am sorely disappointed in you Miss Fletcher, and I hope you know what you’re doing.
