Sean Hannity Freaks Out After Megyn Kelly Mocks Him As Trump's Safe Space

Hannity also accused his Fox News colleague of supporting Hillary Clinton.

Sean Hannity does not like criticism.

The Fox News host attacked coworker Megyn Kelly on Wednesday night for having the nerve to suggest that he lobs softball questions at GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Speaking on her show, “The Kelly File,” she said:

Donald Trump, with all due respect to my friend at 10 o’clock, will go on Hannity and pretty much only Hannity and will not venture out to the unsafe spaces these days, which doesn’t exactly expand the tent for either one of them. There. That’s my two cents.”

Hannity ― who has said he’s “not a journalist,” admitted he goes easier on Republicans and has been actively cheerleading for Trump ― didn’t take it well:

Hannity also implied that his relationships with coworkers weren’t all that great. When someone suggested he stand by his colleague, he replied:

Despite Hannity’s accusation, Kelly wasn’t kind to Hillary Clinton, either. She criticized the Democratic candidate for doing softball interviews, and claimed both Clinton and Trump were in a “presidential protection program” that shielded them from tough questions.

“We just found out that when (Clinton) went on the ‘Steve Harvey Show,’ she had every single question given to her in writing in advance and then she feigned surprise as the questions were asked,” Kelly said.

Kelly and Trump famously feuded last year over this very topic. When Kelly asked a tough question about his history with women during one of the Republican debates, Trump spent months insulting her. The two appeared to reach a truce earlier this year.
