Steve Grand Just Made This Gay Marine's Dream Come True

Looks like it was an incredible night!

Steve Grand made good on his word by attending the 2015 Marine Corps Ball on the arm of U.S. Marine Tanner White.

In September, the out singer-songwriter accepted White's YouTube invitation to the ball, held Nov. 10 in Wilmington, North Carolina. Grand, 25. He follows in the footsteps of Mila Kunis, Justin Timberlake and Kim Kardashian, who have accepted other servicemen and womens' video proposals and attended previous balls.

Fortunately for his fans, Grand documented the evening on his Instagram.

White, who calls himself "your favorite [HIV] positive Marine," focuses on the importance of HIV/AIDS prevention on his YouTube channel. He is believed to be the first openly gay service member to have asked a celebrity to attend the ball via YouTube.

Grand, who has spent most of 2015 touring the world in support of his debut album, "All-American Boy," responded with a YouTube video of his own, saying he'd be "honored" to attend the ball as White's date.

Looks like it was an incredible night!
