Taraji P. Henson Claps Back At 50 Cent For Making Fun Of Vivica A. Fox

#Emmys πŸ’…

Taraji P. Henson isn’t here for 50 Cent’s latest online jab at his ex, Vivica A. Fox. On Wednesday, 50 Cent posted a photo on Instagram of Fox beside a mugshot of β€œBotched” patient Rajee Narinesingh, whose face was disfigured by bad plastic surgery.

In his caption, 50 Cent wrote β€œI don’t know why people would want to cross me,” and added, β€œI told you POWER was the show to watch. πŸ€” Now Empire lol.”

The rapper has been hating on β€œEmpire” since it first premiered, based on superficial similarities between the shows. 50 believes that the promotional images, taglines, and plots of β€œEmpire” are too similar to what β€œPower” is doing. Last year, Vivica A. Fox (who dated 50 Cent in 2003) joined the cast of β€œEmpire” to play the older sister of Taraji P. Henson’s character, Cookie.

Evidently, 50 Cent isn’t happy about it.

Enter Taraji P. Henson, who threw some epic shade on Wednesday when she commented on the rapper-turned-actor’s post. Not only did she tell him to use his platform to uplift and unite people rather than tear down people like his ex (and Rajee Narinesingh, who doesn’t deserve to be shamed for her appearance), she also implied that his bad attitude might be the reason β€œPower” has yet to receive any Emmy nominations like β€œEmpire” has.

β€œMaybe your karma is blocking your blessings,” Henson wrote, adding the hashtag, β€œ#Emmys.”

Henson’s entire response (and Vivica A. Fox’s approval) was captured by The Shade Room below:

50 Cent has yet to respond directly to Henson, but he did post a picture of himself and Samuel L. Jackson that seemed to be a subtle clap back at Henson’s diss about β€œPower.”

β€œI study Sam Jackson, in his career he didn’t get the accolades connected to great work he did, but he didn’t slow down,” he wrote in the caption.

Good luck with that, 50.
