This guy needs a refresher on how to safely cross the street, preferably without his earbuds in.
A man was almost knocked down by a motorbike after appearing to jaywalk in Manchester, England, last week.
Dramatic video filmed on bike rider Chris Evans' helmet camera shows the man crossing the road after the light turns green for the traffic:
He then gets cut off by a car and turns back — but doesn't spot Evans on his motorbike, and ends up just inches away from being struck.
"I thought it would be fine but he had his headphones in under his hood so [he] clearly didn't hear my bike even though it makes quite a noise," Evans told the Manchester Evening News.
"When he moved back I thought I was going to hit him. It was unbelievably close, I could feel him brush past though I think I just managed to avoid clipping him," added the biker rider, who posted the footage to YouTube on Tuesday.
The pedestrian has not been identified. But hopefully he'll pay more attention when crossing a busy road in the future.
More than 4,800 pedestrians were killed in traffic crashes in the U.S. in 2015, according to the Governors Highway Safety Association, and a total of 150,000 walkers were also treated in emergency rooms.
