Vikings Lose To Seahawks On Heartbreaking Missed Field Goal

Absolutely stunning.

The Seattle Seahawks defeated the Minnesota Vikings 10-9 on Sunday and advanced to the divisional round of the NFC playoffs.

In the waning seconds of the game, Vikings kicker Blair Walsh pushed what would have been a game-winning 27-yard field goal wide left.

Punter Jeff Locke, who was the holder on the field goal attempt, was unable to get the laces out, which might have contributed to the missed kick.

Vikings players were stunned ...

And emotional ...

Walsh was reportedly so upset after missing that chip-shot field goal that he broke down in tears after the game.

Vikings fan or not, you have to feel for the kicker -- this was an absolutely heartbreaking way to get eliminated from the playoffs.
