Dad's Viral Video Has A Message For Parents Who Publicly Humiliate Their Kids As Punishment

Florida dad Wayman Gresham has a bone to pick with parents who punish their kids by publicly humiliating them on the Internet.

In a discipline-themed video he shared on Facebook, Gresham announces that he's going to give his son Isaiah a "bald head, messed up haircut" because he's "not happy with him.”

It's time for me to discipline my kid the tough way! Why? I don't play that!

But in a twist, the dad instead gives his son a hug and then calls out parents who give their kids bad haircuts and otherwise humiliate them as a punishment. “There’s no way in the world I would ever embarrass my son like that,” Gresham says.

"Good parenting starts before he even gets to the point of being out of control," he continues. "Good parenting is letting your child know that you love them regardless of what they are and who they are and showing them the way by example.”

Gresham's video has been shared over 500,000 times. In response to Facebook comments, the dad later clarified his views on punishing his children. "I am not against discipline!" he wrote. "I am against public humiliation!"

Sounds simple enough.
