Kombucha, the fermented tea that's taken American supermarkets by storm, is clearly here to stay. If you drink it and love it, then you know that this effervescent drink comes with a steep price tag. Luckily there is a solution -- you can make your own batch at home.

The folks at Fix.com have put together an infographic to show us how to do just that. And trust us, when it comes to making this tea you want some really good directions because the first time dealing with a scoby -- the symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast that forms during fermentation -- can be scary.
