Woman Accidentally Gets Jeremy Lin Tattoo, Jeremy Lin Copies It

"If I am going to have his name on me forever I should at least see the guy play."

We love a tattoo-regret story with a happy ending.

Holland Christensen took to Reddit to explain that she accidentally got NBA player Jeremy Lin's name tattooed in Chinese characters on her ankle. Someone actually pranked her into the ink, telling her the writing had a different meaning.

Despite having no idea who Lin is, Christensen made the best of it. She became a huge fan of the Charlotte Hornets guard and bought tickets to a game.

"I figure if I am going to have his name on me forever I should at least see the guy play," she wrote. "He seems like an awesome person and through all this, I have become a fan of the Hornets and the NBA in general. Hopefully I can meet him someday so I feel the tattoo is justified."

The woman did eventually see Lin play in person with a fellow Redditor, but it gets better: Lin spotted her story on social media and responded by copying the tattoo on his own person.

Now Lin not only has someone with his name permanently etched on her ankle -- we'll presume he has a fan for life.

Christensen also posted an explanation on YouTube.
