Forget dolls. When a 14-year-old girl told her mom she wanted a baby, detectives say the Georgia woman tried to buy her a real one off Craigslist.

Elaine Sunwoo Williams, 47, was arrested Friday after authorities say she posted an ad asking mothers to drop their unwanted babies in a "baby box" at her home in Cumming, Georgia.

Williams said her daughter was determined to have a baby and would get one with or without her help, a Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office spokesman told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Williams’ plan backfired, however, when a concerned resident tipped detectives off to the outrageous Craigslist ad, Forsyth News reported.

Williams faces one felony count of unlawful advertisement/unlawful inducement for adoption of children, according to the county sheriff's office. The wannabe teen mom faces undisclosed juvenile charges, authorities said.
