Malkin and Limbaugh and O'Reilly! Oh my!

Between Michelle Malkin Swift Boating a traumatically injured 12-year-old boy, Rush Limbaugh denigrating anti-war veterans, and Bill O'Reilly insulting black Americans, the mighty right-wing media machine is in the process of driving American conservatism right off a cliff. The stars have become the face of the Republican Party.

Honestly, the Malkin-led jihad unfolded like a parody of blood-thirsty Republican bloggers -- an Onion-worthy spoof -- the kind that even I would have been too sheepish to dream up because the premise made them seem even loonier than I thought they were. How far off the range did Malkin and company roam with their wayward attacks on the Frost family? So far that even the trigger-happy crew at Fox News refused to saddle up and join the midnight posse, out to unmask a sick kid and his needy parents.

Now there is an axis of evil if there ever was one. As they get more moronic they proabably will be getting higher ratings. Why do Americans listen to these hate merchants?

What fascinates me is, what happens to these guys in the aftermath? I wonder if they've given it much thought? Maybe fear is what's driving the vitriol during this latter phase. They do seem to have lost a good deal of their animal cunning. You know what they say about cornered animals...

It's refreshing to see the spit fly though, as Rush dredges for words rancorous enough to express his fury at the fact that the liberals aren't rolling over dead.

The aftermath: Rush back on drugs, I think. Malkin will gain weight. A lot of it. O'Rielly will be arrested looking into stalls in the WOMEN'S restroom in an airport. They will all become tenured professors at Chicago University, along with Condi Rice.

I can't even say the word "conservative" without gagging! It's become the most repulsive word in the modern media.

Malkin in many ways is much worse than any of this lot and even Ann Coulter--she is truly intelligent--something the others probably aren't---and for her to hold the very extremist views she holds and expreses makes her totally reprehensible---but as some have noted--it is actually good that they do keep yapping-it shows them all to be the sorry excuses for humanity they all are.

Exactly why the spotlight should continue to shine on these folks. The more they talk, the more they are heard, the more ridiculous they become.

I believe that a point has come when even their most ardent fans are beginning to cringe as the layers continue to be pealed off.

But don't let it rest. They have shown us in spades that they don't get sense without having it rubbed into their brains through their ears.

The rubes that these guys talk to literally believe the last thing they hear, until someone points out the lie. Until they are shown graphically that Malkin is full of sh*t, they'll continue to believe in the great MSM conspiracy to support Al Qaeda by making up violent stories about Iraq, complete with photo-shopped fake photos.

They'll keep thinking that Blackwater are victims of smear attempts as getback for trying to defend our officials in a war zone (never mind that that contradicts their other belief that Iraq is as safe as a Sunday picnic).

They will continue to think that we are "winning," in Iraq, whatever that means. That BetrayUs and poor Erik Prince were swiftboated by rabid (if only!) Dems.

Seek out the fascist posts, and post rebuttals. You're dealing with idiots, so treat them like idiots. Tell them the truth, but keep it (very) simple, so they can follow. One point at a time, and eventually they'll run out of points.

Good stuff. I agree that Limbaugh's attack on Michael J. Fox probably handed the Senate seats in Missouri and Virginia to the Democrats. These schmucks are showing their real hatred for everyday Americans and it is catching up with them.

Of the three, the one I find least reprehensible is Malkin...

Of the three, Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, which do you find the least reprehensible? After an attack like she made on that child, reprehensible is too weak a word.

Don't you think that comparing Malkin, Limbaugh or O'Reilly to Hitler, Stalin or Pol Pot is a bit of a reach?

It's Joe McCarthy all over again. Eventually these blowhards go too far and reveal themselves for what they are.

I don't care who or what you are, when more than a few thousand people hate someone all at once, it's like a curse is put on that person.

Malkin, Limbaugh and the whole crew at FBC are in for a sucky ride now.

Perhaps with a little work, I can even pity them, because a Progressive Liberal should have a reserve of compassion on standby.

We actually are the better people because of these traits. Better by a light-year.

Of course they don't agree. What else is new?

Over the years I never actually listened to any of these fools on the far right but now they have invited the spotlight of ridicule. The irony is that the GOP will be punished for the sins of their mouthpieces, they'll have to repudiate them to have any chance of ever being elected again.Stay tuned for the earthquake.

O'Reilly, Limbaugh, and Malkin - the real axis of evil - or as some of us refer to them - the water carriers of the Neocon segment and where do they get the moral standing to judge others? Less we forget - Bill lost a sexual harrassment case and Rush, well, where do we start with that fat tub of horse manure - there is the drug addiction and the chasing off to a third world country to get some underage sex with partners of undermined sex and Michelle - an Ann Coulter wantabe - for God's sake is that setting your ambitions low or what?

As a liberal, all I can say is there must be a God because he made these three dirt bags Republicans.

"Over the years I've found that there's a direct link between the degree to which right-wing bloggers become unhinged and how lost the issue at hand is. That's one reason the war in Iraq has collectively driven them to distraction."

And not just Iraq. Everything is crashing down on them. Nothing is as it was. They know the end is near. They see the rats deserting the ship.

Many trolls have abandoned any pretense at argument and just insult. Others mix a little denial with their insult. But all pretense at substance is gone.

That was an accurate and insightful observation.
