Eric Ethington is the founder of the full-time LGBT news blog and activist group PRIDEinUtah. He’s organized protests against LGBT discrimination for the last several years and has been featured on most news networks for his work in LGBT politics, including both CNN and Fox. Raised as a Mormon, he spends most of his time fighting the hardest battle for a Democrat in the country, Utah Republicans.

A passionate progressive, his blog was honored as one of the top political blogs in the state for 2009, and he just received a City Weekly “Best Of Utah” for citizen journalism. He also acts as a community adviser to several Utah Legislators and is the Chair of the Utah State Democratic Party Progressive Caucus. By day, Eric is the president of Social Presence, a web marketing company, as well as co-host of The LEFT Show!
