Eric Tang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of African American Studies and the Asian American Studies Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He has written extensively on Vietnamese American and Black relations in New Orleans. His forthcoming book is titled Unsettled: America’s Refugees and the Struggle for a Just Resettlement.
