According to Washingtonian magazine, award-winning children's books author Erica S. Perl is "a writer to watch" (translation: count your silverware after she leaves your house). Her most recent children’s book, Ninety-Three in my Family, received the Reuben Award for Best Illustrated Book and was a Book Sense Pick and Slate magazine Best Book of 2006.
