Erica Williams is a cultural critic and activist, passionate about
engaging the next generation in civic life. She is currently a Senior
Strategist at Citizen Engagement Lab (CEL), an incubator for
tech-savvy, people powered projects that help communities build power
for social change. Erica was the previously co-founder of Progress
2050, an equity project of the Center for American Progress, and the
Deputy Director of the Center’s youth advocacy arm. Listed by
Politico.com as one of 50 Top Politicos, Erica also worked at the
nation's oldest, largest, and most diverse civil and human rights
coalition, the Leadership Conference on Civil & Human Rights.

Erica has become a nationally recognized leader & commentator on
politics and key issues affecting young people, women, and people of
color. She has been regularly featured on a wide variety of programs
reaching broad audiences: from Fox News, Charlie Rose and HBO’s Real
Time w Bill Maher, to MTV, BET and G4TV. Her work has been
highlighted in the Washington Post, U.S. News & World Reports, and
