Breast cancer is a serious disease affecting women, and no one cares more about the health of individuals than giant, for-profit corporations. Which is why so many of these philanthropic corporations want to help out by selling products wrapped in "Worst Shade of Pink" pink. You know that when you buy that Breast Cancer Awareness Paslode Nail Gun "Nail for a Cure" decal, some of your money will go somewhere having something to do with breast cancer research, maybe.

They shot themselves in, um, whatever place, when they put pink on the NFL players. All I can think of when I see this brand marker, is how annoyed I am.

I'm doing my part... to support the cause I'm going to appreciate every boob I see... oh, wait. I already do that.

But seriously, I have several friends who are survivors and I honor their perseverance and determination to not let breast cancer destroy their lives. Another example of women being stronger than men.

On the serious side, I have to wonder why we average people are donating so much money over the years to various Cancer or other medical causes, for research and in essence paying for it all. Yet we get absolutely nothing in return for it without paying through the nose. Shouldn't so many people who have contributed so much in funding the research get more than the ability to pay high priced medical bills in addition. Where is the benefit?
