A few days ago I gave the commencement speech at my former high school's graduation. It's the same town where the American revolution began. Even though only four grown ups attended the graduation dressed as Minute Men, the British still did not dare attack. They wisely stayed away. Here's a video of my speech. Relax, everyone, I only mention heroin once:

Funny line: "Don't get too excited when you read the Fountainhead"! :-)
I about "jizzed my pants" as the now-famous phrase goes when I watched Gary Cooper's Fountainhead speech on youtube, so I know what he is talking about, ha!
ROFL@"Don't get too excited when you read the Fountainhead"
As a proud graduate of LHS (way long time ago), congrats to the current class.
I don't have a clue who gave the speeches at our graduation or what they said -- the real learning comes from experience more than speeches anyway.
Our ceremony, on the football field, was a bit hazy due to partying beforehand. (I'm Class of '72)
The local lore about April 19th is a nice piece of mythology. Just remember when the Minutemen confronted the British that fateful morning, they had just spent a good 5 hours working up their courage in Buckman Tavern. It's a wonder they could stand up on the green, and little wonder the Redcoats won the skirmish!
What sort of grading scale awards a negative eight?
