Faiz Siddiqui is a political columnist for the student-run NextGen Journal (nextgenjournal.com) and a blogger for Harumph!, the blog of archaic interjections. On the weekends, he writes feature stories and reports for the Lincoln Journal Star, as an intern. Siddiqui is an advocate of social justice who believes in social responsibility and would participate in a violent revolt just for the thrill. In his free time, he confines himself to his dorm room and writes, usually while blaring devilish rap music and annoying his painfully reverent floormates. He is currently a freshman journalism student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.



In 2010, he was runner-up to Ohio Student Journalist of the Year.
