Farah Ahmad recently finished working on the Presidential Inaugural Committee, a job she obtained after working as a Regional Field Director (RFD) for the 2012 Obama Campaign in Iowa. In her role as RFD she worked to re-elect President Obama by leading and training a team in campaign and GOTV strategy, coalition building, and event
management.

Before the 2012 campaign, she obtained her masters degree in Public Affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University where she studied public policy and performed policy analysis for governments and international organizations. Previous to graduate school Farah worked for three years in policy,politics, community outreach, and legislative affairs.

Farah is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations and began her career in the labor movement working as a research analyst, creating strategic plans to provide community benefits for economic development projects. She has also worked on myriad of other domestic issues which include advocacy projects for health care reform and renewable energy and conservation policy. She continuously champions for the underdog, and hence loves pigeons and the Rust Belt.
