Faran Krentcil is the digital director of NYLON Magazine and a contributing editor for Page Six Magazine in the New York Post. She is the founder of Fashionista.com, an independent fashion website that has garnered over a million unique readers since its inception in 2007.

Faran began her career at Fashion Week Daily, the tongue-in-chic trade publication owned by 7th on Sixth, the governing body of New York Fashion Week. Her work has appeared in New York, The New York Times, Anthem, The New York Post, and Teen Vogue. She was also a fit model for Heatherette, which explains her forthcoming debut novel: Glitter Vomit, the Life and Times of a Rave Baby, which is already banned in Afghanistan, Yemen, and some parts of Oklahoma.

Faran graduated in 2003 from Duke University, where she majored in art and dramatic writing, and minored in blonde.
