Your Grandma Could Rock A Bikini

Last week, we took a look back at some of our favorite swimsuit style icons, like Raquel Welch, Marilyn Monroe and Christie Brinkley. Of course, these famous faces all looked amazing in their swimsuits, but most most 60-something-year-old women can't exactly pull off a red bikini à la Helen Mirren.

C.Z. Guest was more than deserving when she was nominated to the International Best Dressed List Hall of Fame in 1959. The socialite, who was married to polo champion Winston Frederick Churchill Guest, was known for promoting iconic American designers, like couturier Mainbocher. In the photo below from 1962, Guest is wearing a white dress paired with a white cropped jacket (and matching poodle). The green flats and matching brooch provide a pop of color. Will you try a white-on-white look this summer?

Stevie Nicks' Truly Epic Outfits Through The Years

I still remember the first time I heard Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide." Even though it was almost three decades after the song was initially released, I fell in love with singer/songwriter Stevie Nicks. I am not alone, as the gravel-voiced songstress continues to influence contemporary musicians like Taylor Swift and Florence Welch. After leaving Fleetwood Mac in 1981, Nicks struck out on her own as solo artist, recording songs such as "Edge of Seventeen," and "Stand Back."

Although I was first obsessed with Nicks' music, her inimitable rock star style is equally inspiring. The woman is basically the definition of boho. If only I could pull off her '70s "Gold Dust Woman" top hats, her tousled '80s hair and the wacky shawls she favors today. To celebrate Stevie Nicks' 64th birthday on May 26th, take a look back at her truly epic outfits, both on-stage and off. Which look is your favorite?

Would You Wear Cat-Eye Liner On A Date?

I usually just smudge dark brown eyeliner all around my eyes, but this past weekend I decided to try a semi-dramatic cat eye for a dinner date. I used MyFace slinky matte eyeliner, some Lancome mascara, and Estee Lauder black eyeliner pencil under my eyes.

Actress Carrie Fisher, the daughter of Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher, is best known for playing Princess Leia in "Star Wars."

But that isn't Fisher's only stylish moment. Take the simple-yet-chic look pictured below from 1975. With her layerd bob hairstyle and berry-stained lips, Fisher manages to mix black and white without looking like a waitress.

WHAT: The rising hip-hop star wore a royal blue, houndstooth dress from Marni's Spring 2012 collection, light green pumps and dangling earrings before she hit the stage at the MoMa. It was a lady-like departure for Santigold, who usually favors edgier pieces like Alexander Wang tees paired with printed denim and leather jackets. We also loved how she tied in pops of green on her lids and nails -- a nice compliment to her fab shoes.

This week, FashGif takes on this look from Oscar de la Renta's Resort 2013 collection modeled by Frida Gustavsson. Isn't it reminiscent of the black and white look Lauren Santo Domingo wore to the 2012 Met Gala? Bows and other ladylike embellishments are a definite trend this season, but these are beyond all others. Do you wish your skirt could do this?
