i just went off on someone who probably didn't deserve it. thanks to everyone that is suggesting other great places to get a sandwich! i look forward to eventually trying all of tehm. to the rest of you- i could care less that you make your sandwiches at home (unless i get one, too). if you don't like fatty, high-cholesterol food... so what! this part of huffpo is pretty much about food-porn. if you don't like it there are plenty of juicy tomkat stories for you to check out.

no disrespect to you in particular... but why in the world do SO many people make comments like this? fine, you cook at home, or don't like fast food, or find such stuff unhealthy... nobody else cares. this section is clearly about food pron. if you're offering all of us sandwiches, great! otherwise please stay topical

There are great sandwiches everywhere. It's more a matter of personal taste then the taste of those who created this list.

No Katz's Deli, no Cantor's, no Tats Deli, no Salumi, no Paseo (last 3 all Seattle) and no Domini. This list is goes wanting.

And among these Paseo is the clear winner with their Midnight Cuban.

Get some good genoa salami, imported provolove, some gababool, long hots on a good crusty roll with some oil.
