The Foreign Policy Roundtable (FPR) was created out of the belief that we must increase the number of constituencies in America who are actively engaged in global affairs; that we must have a citizenry that will encourage our policymakers to remain committed to a U.S. leadership role in this increasingly interdependent world. Our particular focus is creating support in the entertainment and media industries, considered important in multiple ways, as storytellers, as effective advocates, as philanthropists, and as engaged political citizens. FPR also seeks to use the media to help popularize global affairs among the general public; for this reason we are very proud to have begun a collaboration with the Huffington Post that will bring an a different take on foreign policy stories, opinions, and analyses to the broader web public.
