Francis L. Holland, Esq. earned a Bachelors Degree in Spanish from Rhode Island College and a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law, in Boston, after which he was managing attorney for immigration legal services programs in Fall River, Massachusetts and Newark, New Jersey.

This spring, Atty. Holland helped to found the 80-member national and international AfroSpear Black bloggers' group that planned and executed the 60,000-strong Jena Six Justice March, to Jena, Louisiana, chronicled at the AfroSpear Jena Scrapbook blog.

Francis blogs at the eponymous Francis L. Holland Blog and the Truth about Kos Blog, where he published the "The Indictment of Markos C.A. Moulitsas ZÚÑIGA by Justice and History."

With the AfroSpear's African American Political Pundit, Mr. Holland co-edits the Democratic Afrosphere blog, a forum for Black thought on the 2008 presidential race.

Mr. Holland speaks Spanish, Portguese and French, and resides in Bahia, Brazil with his Afro-Brazilian wife, Teresa, and two children.
