My criteria for listening to political rhetoric is, strip away the passion and hyperbole, and ask yourself, is what this person saying true or not? If you can make any case, any case at all that follows a linear logic, then maybe, just maybe, regardless of how outrageous the claim is, the speaker may have a point
And I have seen very little instance where a politician is saying something that won't be true for someone, in which case they cant be considered lying
Well, except for this whole "Health care" debate issue, but that's another issue. It's apparently okay to lie if everyone is doing it
I'm sorry, but I'm not sharing the enthusiasm for Mr. Grayson. Although I agree with what he is saying, not so with how he is saying it. Look, I dislike Republicans and much as the next guy, but how is his discourse any different from those we criticize for uncivil discourse? Mr. Grayson is descending to their level and fellow Dems are applauding it. Knuckle draggers? Reps really want people to die quickly? Please!
I agree with Arianna, that this just detracts from his message in a negative way. Hyperbole is counter productive. Let's not go there please.

Yes, indeed.

Splendid. Well deserved
applause for an outspoken,
forthright Democrat.
