Geoffrey F. Gresh is an Assistant Professor at the College of International Security Affairs at National Defense University in Washington, D.C. He is also a nonresident Senior Fellow at the Institute for Global Maritime Studies. He received his Ph.D. in International Relations from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University where he wrote his dissertation on Persian Gulf maritime and national security. Previously, he was a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar to Turkey and a Presidential Intern at the American University in Cairo. From 2010 to 2011 he was a visiting research fellow at Sciences Po in Paris. He was also named as a U.S.-Japan Leadership Program Fellow. Gresh received a B.A. with high honors from Lafayette College and a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School.
