George Blair Scribner is Senior Vice President, Cultural Insights, at Digitas, a digital marketing and media company. As a 25-year marketing and media strategist, his career has spanned digital marketing, general advertising, book publishing, and newspaper publishing. Currently, George leads a team of people who reveal cultural, cognitive, and category insights for branding, new product development, and communications.

Before joining Digitas, George launched a brand consulting practice at the New York office of DDB Worldwide. Prior to that, he was VP, Customer Insights, at Organic, where he created the primary research capability for Web site development and online media. While in publishing, George led a wide array of sales and marketing activities at St. Martin’s Press and was Director, Single Copy Sales, at the Christian Science Monitor.
