To have a better understanding of what caused the financial crisis and how we can remedy it please read a post titled "Why is the United States undergoing a political and Financial Crisis?" and watch the third video down labeled "The Money Masters" at:

The banking dynasty read the book and story of "the Grains of Rice on the chessboard."

When you stop freeze and frame here, just ignore the socialism for the hyper wealthy last week. Obama is offering more political band-aids.

The only system of fiat money that has ever worked was Continental script, because it was interest free. You cannot survive an ever spiraling exponential growth that goes with compound interest. You will be in the position of the one who demanded the grains of rice on the chessboard, but you will never be happy as the king.

If it is simple enough for a six year old to figure out in a Disney story, why do we have to go to Harvard or some prestigious University to fix the economy. Get rid of the interest, make the money depend on work, and goods, and you are done. Everyone prospers, just not exponentially and impossibly.

I'd rather hear about a new WPA to build a green transportation infrastructure based on light and high speed rail. This will expand the consumer base creating opportunities for small and large businesses alike and reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and carbon footprint.
