Palin Disputes Finding That She Abused Power VIDEO >>

digg Share this on Facebook Huffpost - stumble reddit del.ico.us RSS

Sarah Palin yesterday defended her actions in the Troopergate scandal after an Alaska ethics report concluded that she had abused her gubernatorial power when firing a state official. In the video Palin seems to flout the reality of the ethics report saying:

I'm thankful that the report has shown that there was no illegal or unethical activity there in my choice to replace our commissioners.

She argues that the process is partisan and that the ethics panel just tends to dislike everything she does as governor.

Bonus Video:

Investigation into the Troopergate scandal has determined that GOP vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin abused her power in the firing of a state trooper.

Yes, a finding that Falin violated the Ethics law thus breaching the public trust would constitute a minor campaign distraction about like that old pesky financial crisis--dog gone it! Now that makes one ethics violation a piece for those six pack mavericks. Now that's some kinda reform we can believe in my fellow prisoners.

that's my gurl. quite the reformer... I'm so proud of her "maverickyness" to reject the laws of the common man. she as an elected official strives to be above that like her mentor george bush. when she's the Veep- todd is gonna be such an asset behind the scenes w/ those strongarm pressure tactics & all. what a value the american peeple will get. 2 for the price of 1! together they will promote themselves & their agenda w/ the AIG to eliminate govrnment -which just gets in the way -and help me put country 1st by bringing out all those nasty racsists who are gonna elect me. problem w/ U dems is you still just don't understand the kind of reform we can accomplish w/out that pesky constitution in the way. thanx to the president for showing us the way. god bless america & me & sarah/todd too.

Palin is GOOD at Politics as Usual- I have never seen anything like it- I was worried for her tho- expected her to pass out from lack of air as she kept talking over the additional "clarifying" questions the reporter obviously tried to ask.
What a a ridiculous claim (dare I say "LIe") and a stupid one at that - Because all you need do is read or listen to a few of the many information pieces writen about the findings of "Troopergate" to see the truth.
This McCain/ Palin strategy will definitely play with their base. It has become very obvious that the Republican Base is not composed of an inquisitive group of people - rather people who are more than ready to take everything their Party says as fact. Watching the Republican Campaign Crowds I would classify many of them amongst the least informed people in this country. Not to mention filled with Hate.
Truth Over Power.

Is that what McCain's lobbyist campaign staff told her to say? I just bet McCain is cursing her behind her back.
